An innovation strategist with more than a decade of international experience, Henry leverages data and behavioral sciences to build disruptive solutions used by clients ranging from Fortune 500 organizations, award winning start-ups, and economic development offices.
He has successfully led the design and operations of ground-breaking innovation platforms that have produced technologies sold to companies such as 3M, Omnicom, Nike, the Mayo Clinic and Facebook.
Henry is an avid learner of all things pertaining to sophisticated capitalism, quantitative modelling, behavioral sciences/design, mathematics, philosophy, and human potential. He is an ardent believer in the transformative capacity of entrepreneurship to be the most powerful and positive agent of change in the world.
As Markers’ Managing Partner, Jock is responsible for the overall strategy, operational framework, and growth of the fund.
An experienced international investment and operational manager, Jock served as the Chairman of JZ Equity Partners, and its predecessor MCIT PLC for over twenty years and was a co-founder of JZ International, a European private equity investment firm based in London (UK) with over €1 Billion in assets under management (AUM).
Previously, Jock served as an Executive and Director of NM Rothschild & Sons and later as a Non-Executive Director for a total of more than twenty years in addition to having a career in industry as Chief Executive of the Guthrie Corporation PLC, a multinational conglomerate, Chief Executive of William Baird PLC, a UK clothing and engineering business and Co-Chairman and Chief Executive of Kelt Energy PLC, an international oil and gas business.
